Create Profile :
Taking Aim Consider who will be viewing your site. Who is your clientele and what is the best possible way to attract them? What type of content should be included? What form should that content take? A good profile pays close attention to detail, and streamlines every bit of information until the best possible product has been envisioned. The following is a list of details we believe to be crucial in establishing a cohesive and efficient web site. We ask that they are reviewed prior to your proposal.
1. Selecting your Audience
  • What types of visitors do you want to attract? What is your target audience?

  • For each different type of visitor, what is your aim? What should they feel when they leave your site?

  • Does the site deal with any products or services, and if so, what are your goals for these items?

2. Content
  • Who will provide the content?

  • How often will this content require updating?

  • Who will be responsible for updating?

3. Functionality
  • What functional requirements are necessary for your project's success? (e.g. interactivity, catalogs, shopping cart programs, database interaction, etc.)

  • Who will maintain and update these functions?

  • What are the security issues of these functions?

  • What are the technical limitations?

  • Is hosting included in your proposed budget? Has the cost of maintenance been considered?

  • Who will be responsible for maintaining the contents?

  • Who will host this project? Is high-quality hosting a priority?

  • Are any legacy systems/databases in place? If so, what types?

  • What is your long-term plan for the site?
